Overheard at the Sangria Lover House
News Anchor: Coming up: A new video game version of Beer Pong — would you let your kids play it? (Anchor’s tone implies that the only acceptable answer to her question is “Absolutely not!”)
Tim: So there’s a problem with Beer Pong, but Grand Theft Auto is okay?

Exactly what I would have (of) said.
I never know what context to ^ use..Can you help me out grammar God?
I totally agree with Tim.
Heather, I know Sangria can probably explain it better than me, but it would be “have.”
It’s the past-perfect tense of the verb “to say.” Past-perfect just means you use the past participle of the verb (in this case, “said”) and add a “have” in front of it to imply that though the action is in the past, it might still be going on.
I’ll cut out the geekiness, now. (Sangria, did I get it right??)
Hmm… I hardly ever play Beer Pong with MY parents.
AMEN TIM!!!
Seriously.
Oh and to Laurel… You don’t play Beer Pong with your parents???
If you ever take these fear whoring news topics seriously, you’d be a paranoid fool.
kinda like
**woman raped, rapist on the loose, find out if he’s in your backyard, at news 4 at 10pm**
You stay up until 10pm in fear, come to find out this happened in Afghanistan, whole ‘nother continent.
But I see Tim’s point tho.
