Smalls Sunday: Smalls and the Snow

We just got back from Vail, where we spent the second half of Tim’s spring break in a fabulous timeshare condo courtesy of my in-laws. A more detailed post on the week is in the works, but one of the most memorable days in Vail was Monday, when it snowed 24 inches in 24 hours. While Tim and I hung out at the condo enjoying the hot tub and fireplace, I couldn’t help but think about our puppies back home and how they would be reacting to all the snow.

The first time it snowed after we got Smalls, I was so excited to see her play in it. I grabbed my camera before letting the dogs out in the morning, determined to get some good puppy-romping-in-the-snow pictures. But Smalls? Could care less about the snow. And actually would maybe prefer not to get her feet all cold and wet in that stuff, thank you very much. So while Ben the Eskimo is romping around like “OMG My natural habitat! I love it! I love it! I love it!” Smalls is just like, “Eh. Can we go inside now?” Way to be super lame, Smalls.

At least she’s cute enough to make up for her lameness.

    Smalls! Rufus is very sad to hear that you don’t like snow! Kaya said she’d stay inside and play with you, though. She’s not a snow fan either.
