Wednesday-Bensday! Special Thanksgiving Edition

hi guys. this is ben. i’m a cute little dog.

do you guys know about this thanksgiving thing that’s happening tomorrow? i don’t know much about it except that i’m going to have to spend the whole day in a house filled with delicious smells and i probably won’t get nearly as many bites of that yummy smelling stuff as i deserve. i’ll just spend all day with my nose in the air, and my parents will maybe give me one or two small bites of something besides my boring old food. whatever. at least the bites i do get are really really yummy. it even makes it worthwhile to risk hanging out in the kitchen in case they feel like dropping more delicousness onto the floor. sometimes it’s good to face your fears. but only when there’s food involved.

then there’s this other thing they sometimes do where they get out this pile of noisy, rustly paper and look at it for the longest time. i don’t know what’s so great about some stack of paper that makes so much scary noise. but they seem to be pretty interested in it. they say they’re looking for good deals on treats or something, but i don’t really know what that means. i mean it’s not like i’m going to eat anything that comes out of that scary paper anyway. those guys are wasting their time looking for treats in the paper when they could just give me some of the treats that are making the kitchen smell so good. my parents are so weird, you guys.

with all the smells and risky kitchen time and rustling paper, this thanksgiving thing is one tiring day for little dogs.

when you go see my friends bugs, rufus, ted, gus, and my new friend zapp, be sure to show them how thankful you are for their help in making the internet a cuter place. the best way to show them this is by giving them some of that stuff that makes the kitchen smell so good.

Ben! Thanks for the holiday tips. The parents are going elsewhere for Thanksgiving this year, so I won’t be able to sneak tasty tidbits…maybe leftovers though. But, I’ve got it on good authority that Christmas is being hosted here at my very own house! I’ll have plenty of time to plan how to sneak food out of the hands of the 20 people who are coming over!

I love that Ben is scared of the newspaper and the kitchen. He and Max would be good friends… except for the fact that Max is scared of dogs, of course.

Ben you look exhausted…maybe you shouldn’t have spent time looking for treats in those papers there. I hope you and your parents are having a wonderful thanksgiving today. My little family here is thinking about yours and we are very thankful for you guys.
